Lattis Collection uses marquise shape elements that might remind you of leaves or wings. I first imagined an armature like the wood frame of an early airplane wing. Linking these shapes into chains made me shift my focus to their flowing motion. The bracelet I created rolled over my wrist-; there was unexpected pattern and sound. Adding a line of contrasting metal to the pattern in the Swell Bracelet allowed me to show the flow of the movement as the line rolls through the bracelet like a swelling wave.
