This necklace celebrates the elements of earth, ocean, and air. Earth represented by the green Lucin Utah variscite, Brazilian agate, and green opal. Ocean by natural colored pearls. Air is represented by the shimmering Oregon cat’s-eye moonstone, cat’s-eye quartz and hawk’s-eye quartz. These unusual phenomenal gems are all one-of-a-kind.
The elements are scattered around the neck along with my signature hand-fabricated forms in luxe 18k gold and sterling silver for a pearl necklace that’s anything but traditional. I mixed tones and shades to capture the beauty of the changing palette of the landscape at dusk in my native Seattle.
The necklace has two separate pieces and clasps that enable it to be worn many ways: as one long 33-inch necklace, as a 25-inch necklace and 8-inch bracelet, or as a 25-inch necklace with a dangling lariat-like extension. Doubled for a chunky luxe choker.

Convex and concave trajectories of projectiles, satellites, and subatomic particles inspired this necklace of symmetrically linked forms of gleaming 18k green gold punctuated by bullets of rich purple amethyst. The gems are captured in the chain but still free to move. The links slide and pivot...
